Test cricket is returning to Grenada!

West Indies will play England in Grenada, in the third of three Test matches in the Apex series which started today, 8th March 2022. The Grenada dates are Thursday March 24 to Monday March 28, 2022. The last time England toured Grenada was 2019 for One Day Internationals. England’s last Test match in Grenada was in 2015.

Grenada is a favourite for British tourists. The Grenada Tourism Authority has been promoting the series and just recently released two videos. I am chuffed that both of them feature footage from videos I took in 2015 and 2019. Happy to have contributed! Check them out below.

For those who are attending the second Test match in Barbados and want to fly over to the Spice Isle for the third Test, Caribbean Airlines has added an extra flight on 21st March. With just 70 seats, they will fill up fast! You can return to Barbados on either 27th March or 30th March.

Now, the only thing we need in Grenada is for the weather to co-operate! But not to worry….the drainage system in the Grenada National Cricket Stadium is very effective.

Today was Day 1 of the first match of the Apex Test series. Listen to Jason Holder talk about the day’s play and whether West Indies let England off the hook after having them down 4 wickets for under 50 runs.
